It's this time of the year, that I miss being up north. This is the time of year when there are hay rides to go on, pumpkin patches to visit, and jackets to be warm.
But nooooooo--not here. Here, there's the beach to visit, air conditioners to be turned on, and shorts to be worn. Not to mention that 80 degree temps and going to football games simply do NOT go together.
What's going on in your hood? What kind of fall activities do you all have? TRADE YA!!!
Your comments--priceless!!

totally HATING how HOT it is this October!!!!! am SO glad to be heading up to the GA mountains for Thanksgiving at least.
i suggest cranking down the air & sipping hot apple cider.
and wearing booties, as opposed to boots as they're not as hot!, but still fall fashion.
:-)
The town square is decorated for Halloween with scarecrows and pumpkins and other traditional decorations. However the children here do not trick or treat on Halloween ever, as years ago a little girled was killed by a truck on Halloween night so now the town mandates trick or treating on the 30th, unless the 30th falls on a wednesday nite cuz that is church night. Ya gotta love small towns in georgia!
Fall is my favorite time of year. We live in Atlanta now and the colors aren't nearly as vibrant and plentiful as they were when we lived in Michigan. I don't miss the snow up north, but I sure do miss all of the fall activities.
We are in full pumpkin gear up here! The trees have changed colors and it's almost winter!
